The boy and his mother childhood friend race home to get to his dad before the faerie does, but due to a lack of proper transportation, the faerie had already gotten there and was now just... waiting for them to show up.
No story, I think the setup and image does that well enough. Was going to do a second part eventually, but... wasn't quite planning on waiting THIS long for it. Whoops. :)
Invested a bit more time into the look for this one, though kept most of the same style the original had as well. Text is typed instead of written, so it should be much cleaner to read. Does take a bit to do though since krita is... very bad at text stuff. ^^;
Not sure if this will live up to the, uh, hype(?) since it took so long to do. But hey, at least it's now done, so there's TOTALLY no more waiting.

The exclusive for tonight will be delayed till tomorrow since hand is overworked from, well, work. But I figure not too many people will be too sad if I posted this in the meantime. :)

Yeah dialog was a bit tricky, I had some room on both sides of the characters early on to give room, but then it would have been both sides to read and figure out. So I just stuck to the one side and mostly left it vertical. At least typed out it's more legible, I couldn't see this being hand written and still understandable. :) The dad is quite chill with it all. Considering he had some time with the faerie to talk and seemingly already heard about what was happening and going to happen, he seems quite ok with the results. With how hot he ended up being, maybe he even got a bit of preferences in there when he was discussing things with the faerie. :)

What can I say? Dad turned out really really hot as a childhood tomboy girlfriend! I admit with so many actors it can become a little confusing to figure out in which order to read these text bubbles but I think I got it right. Also interesting to see Dad's inner thoughts that he enjoys this even though his body acting in "auto mode". Looking forward to see what the sister will be about~ And who says we cannot fix the viewer too in the end~
