I've slowly shifted all of the StephenPlays editing work to Dan, and a bit of the "misc" videos (such as Mail) as well. I'm still editing the vlogs myself, though, and it's mostly to keep the creative control over them. Vlogs are a lot more personal than gaming videos, so my hope is that I can keep editing them myself. Maybe someday I'd give the reigns to Dan, though!

It's amazing what proper lighting can do! Not only does it look better, but it allows the camera to do a better job, too. There's a huge difference on new Morning Mario episodes as compared to the old ones. I'm so glad you've been enjoying Red Dead, and I'm sad that it'll be coming to an end soon! Dan seems to think it may not last throughout all of September, so we really are in the endgame. It's been an amazing adventure, though! Thanks for the well-wishes! There'll be one more Patreon video before we leave for China, so we'll get to see if it's possible to finish all the prep!

I don't know if you'll see this, but have you considered hiring another editor to help clear the projects on your plate, and help keep you on top of vlogs?

Hey Stephen, the new video/lighting setup looks great! The new lights have really made a difference, especially on MM and Twitch streams. Also, a new plan for longer LPs sounds good. It's tough waiting after those classic Stephen cliffhangers! 😉 Needless to say, we are excited for RDR2 moving to 3 days a week. Your commentary, both funny and poignant, has brought so much to an already amazing game and it has been a honor getting to take Arthur's journey with you. 😊 We hope you have a great August and wish you and Mal all the best as you prep for China!
