Lighting Before/After
🕑 Added 2024-05-09 19:22:53 +0000 UTCI did a second lighting pass on this scene and had expected a notable improvement, but I don't know, they both look kinda good. π

Thanks! I do like the contrast of the second one, playing into the characters color schemes a bit.

Good input! I usually follow the Dario Argento school of lighting ("the light comes from the same place as the music"), but good to keep some baseline realism in mind.

I like the 2nd one because the light color feels more realistic. Given the direction of the light, Harley should have that green reflection on her from ivy's skin. You really don't see it in the first one IMO

The bottom one looks great to me but you're right, they both look fantastic.

AND you can see their faces a bit more in the second but the first looks nice with the shadows

Both look good indeed though the purple is a nice offset, especially with how it blends with the green. The light that's behind them seems to also be there but it doesn't clash with the other colors going on
