Dan—twitter/ "X" is a fickle mistress. In the past few months it has entirely lost its status as a social media site. I'm sure you've noticed that when any tweet receives any attention, the replies become a breeding ground for blue checkmarks to shill their arbitrary bait posts. It very much fosters anger as a means of engagement. However, I think it is an interesting place to experiment with your content. It's almost like a petri dish/testing environment for YouTube. Just be careful not to let it influence you too much—the audience on X is not reflective of your greater fan base. If you ever get dogpiled, people will forget about it within a week. We trust you! Keep pushing the boundaries. A breakthrough is on the horizon. Cheers!

Your reasoning makes sense. But with the attention you get on Twitter, you could influence the site to change. You don't have to leave it altogether. I found you on YT though. That's probably where the success will be. Twitter is an echo chamber, their algo suppresses YT links, so it's pretty useless. Maintain a page and post stuff you already posted somewhere else. That's about all the effort it's worth at this time.
