First you get to see that Dawn's relatively okay, then you get a fun demonstration of some medical pymary, then you get a mindscrew, and then suddenly you get a naked spellwright. I feel it's a good progression!Bastion is one of my most favourite characters to draw and to write. And maybe he's not so diabolical as everyone's flashbacks have indicated. He should probably do less foreboding posing on rooftops though, that's hell on anyone's image.

I think he does look different to everybody... but how often do you comment on a person's appearance when they're right there? That's probably the reason why that particular illusion pymary works - because it makes you blend without making you noticeable enough to point out in a crowd.

Does Bastion look different to each person? Why is it so? Else they would have noticed sooner. I chucked thinking that Dawn was surprised by the sudden appearance of Bastions lower body, her eyes aren't exactly staring upwards.

That was a really neat series of pages. :-) Fun way to show the perceptive glamour. And I'm glad Dawn's okay, too.

Haha! Dawn's face in panel 4... and what draws her eye. :D

Judging from the way he speaks, I would not be surpried if he wasn't alive at all...

I had to look from page one to page two several times to make sure I didn't miss the doctor swapping out with an entirely different person in the same clothes, one hell of a trick he has.

I kept looking between panels when he changed appearances on that first page going 'huh'.......does this mean I gotta wait a week for another page? ๐ญ

Well, that certainly escalated quickly! I love the use of color and motion on these pages, and the chance to get a glimpse of a different sort of pymary from what we've seen so far. :D
