Uaid was always meant to largely serve as a conveyance and shelter for moving unscathed through Alderode's dangerous khert, but would have had a number of defensive devices in place as well, for dealing with other threats.I think this is the strongest Quigley's ever reacted to anything in the comic. He's not liking Matty taking so powerfully to the fly-magnet.

So can Duane read that those say Durlyne???? Does he know those names? Quigs is stealing the show here by the end but I'm still curious about that peek of potential connections...
Quigley provides, here, more support for my pet theory that most of the asinine and annoying things that men do are directly related to pride preservation. Such fragile creatures, males.
