Bullet Bra
🕑 Added 2025-06-12 20:45:15 +0000 UTCI found a vintage bullet bra or Cone bra, and I'm really into it!! I bought it for my new airplane video, which I need to have finished by the end of next month. Under a spandex morphsuit, which is compressing, I don't think the shape shines. I'm going to use it for another costume. Historically, women wore them under loose sweaters and were called "sweater girls". I need to put together an outfit that will highlight this shape.
It was interesting putting it on. You need to lean over and finesse your boobs into the cone shape otherwise you will have a bunch of space unfilled at the tip. There are also apparently cone bra fillers because it can sometimes not work with all boob shapes.
I found it interesting looking at women posing in vintage photos from fashion magazines. It feels strange to me that when women pose for photoshoots mediated by a magazine, it's seen as beautiful, but for personal use, it's a little taboo. I personally feel a stigma posing for my Patreon. I think because one is more coded as model work and one more as sex work.
On another note, I've been speaking to airplane owners on FB marketplace, and I'm trying to convince one of them to let me do a photoshoot with their plane!! One of them said to me, "Time is money; it costs $600/per hour to pose next to my plane."

These sorts of bras always fascinate me, like they are so far away from anything we'd consider fashion or sexy in our modern magazines and I always wonder what I would see if I had saw them as they became popular. Style is so fascinating for that one fact, we are mostly the same as people now and then, but we had such different views of attractiveness. It makes me think about the historical fashion design choices that define what I myself view as sexy or cute. I wish we could explore it more, but I think the tabboo like you describe is what holds most people back. Maybe because they view it as too sexual and therefore inappropriate. But I think that sex and fashion and exploring what it means to inhabit a body of a certain shape should be more freely discussed wherever appropriate. It's such a large part of our lives and what goes on in our heads, we should bring it out into the open and interact with it in a more equitable conversation. I'm a big fan of the way you approach things in that category of "possibly tabboo". These days I mostly only see it from creators who are pbviously trying to pander to an audience that only wants to absorb eye candy. Nothing wrong with that on it's face, but there are deeper themes, more interesting ways to discuss our bodies and the things we feel about them!
