Below are some thoughts on me selling adoptables/commissions while having a Patreon.
It's sort of questionable how to handle adoptables/commissions while having a Patreon.
It'd be weird for example if I just drew two commissions one update and charged you for it, since those would already be financed by the commissioner(s).
But I've got to increase my monthly income a bit, and doing some adoptables along with Patreon supported personal work seems like it'd be ideal for me.
I'll never make a patreon update with JUST adoptables/commissions, since that content is financed by the commissioner/adoptable buyer(s).
But when I do make art that isnt fully Patreon funded I'll still send the PSDs /any sketches that result from it to my 3$+ supporters if I'm allowed to! It's supposed to be a " Behind the scenes " tier to all my art after all!
The Emelie/Nila comic thing this update is 100% funded by all of you!
I'll make sure every paid update has some content that isnt funded in other ways.
( Merch might be an exception. Like if I sell art as a print or on a shirt. Then it's technically not 100% patreon funded but I still kinda see it that way since its avaliable equally to everyone! While a commission is done for a specific buyer/an adoptable is sold to a specific individual too )
