Robin

Thse shots are epic! :D

Frank Kuschmann

Yes, right, I totally forgot that earlier unfairness by the bull. Then it happens to him rightfully that he was sunk in the sea by Rolf. Hopefully he can swim.

CyanCapsule

Haha the bull is the one being unfair! He's poking eyes and trying to charge Rolf with his horns, both of which are illegal! Tripping is fair game! Rolf gave both you and Billy a decent head-smack!

Frank Kuschmann

But that was pretty unfair of Rolf to make tripped the bull - lol. My God, Rolf's punch has hit quite well! But I think he must have restrained himself a lot when he hit me on the helmet with his beer mug when I entered Emelie's castle the first time.

CyanCapsule

Haha hmm he kinda does. I might add in some more atmospheric to make him and the bull's legs appear further away. I do like the angle and framing and poses though!

Danny

Rolf looks so small in that one pic. I know its deceptive perspective though.

CyanCapsule

Thank youu! :D There is some kinda humorous movement in the game too here and there for these haha! Like if you look at " stuckground2.png " you see Rolf is in frame with his fist there? In the game he swoops in from the left, then the fist swoops up from the bottom. Of course it's not actual animation, and I don't pretend it is, but it's kinda funny to add some visual variety like that as you play. In Ren'Py ( The game engine ) I also use a " dissolve " transition between the images when they change, and this sooort of tricks the brain into feeling movement sometimes. The " Smack1 , Smack2, Smack3 " pics flow pretty well in game with the screen shake and stuff, it feels even more alive there! But I'm really happy even the stills feel lively, since that's how most images are!

Annikath

Phenomenal work, as always! 😍 absolutely love how dynamic you make your drawings! They don't move, they aren't animated, but they feel SO lively and *alive*!
