Has everyone been able to download the game? Recommendations of other file sharing websites?

Now they seem to work for me, but I'm asking to make sure.
Do you have any other recommendations for sites to host the game files on?
I know of Dropbox, but one of my pals had his dropbox locked/deleted once cus he had hentai on it and they don't like NSFW or something. So IDK how reliable it would be and the free limit is 2 gigs.
Any other options?

Proton Drive should be a good alternative for Dropbox if you need to store lewd content; since it's end to end encrypted. But I use Workupload for my game...that woked so far :)

Honestly i'd just share a magnet/torrent link if i was in your position. it might take a while for people to download initially but after a few people have grabbed it.. it will be a lot quicker. It isn't intrusive, it doesn't cost anything and its super easy

Well, in the case of downloading for Android, Google Drive has a problem and there are a lot of errors, MEGA is the best option to download the game, but there is also MIXDROP, but I let my fellow players decide and the creator too . UNFORTUNATELY I DON'T HAVE ANY PC AT THE MOMENT

The amount of people commenting irrelevant stuff on this post annoys me. I think that the alternative to googledrive being mega is fine personally. I always have issues with google drive being exceeded but mega always works fine for me if drive isn't working.

Thanks for telling me! I'm not sure. Chapters 6,7,8 took 6 months or a little more each. I expect Ch9 to be 5 months at least but I really can't gauge these things well. It all depends on things like scene complexity etc.

Super strange. Was able to play on release, but now the game won't even open. Did a fresh download/install on a different drive on my PC as well. Even version 0.7.0 doesn't work anymore

Hmm but you got the apk file on your phone? just can't install it? Do you have previous versions of the game on your phone? Do you have enough space? ( you probably want at least 5+ gigs free and no previous game versions installed. )

Google Drive works. but if too many people try to download too close together (not sure what time restrictions are) it will give a message like "Too many downloads". I just waited a few minutes (10 I think) and refreshed the page. It worked after. PixelDrain, GoFile, UploadHaven, MixDrop, and MediaFire are pretty reliable portals to use. Though, I'm not a creator so I'm not sure if/what they charge.

Got issue with GDrive. Mega was okay-ish. For alternative, i'm aware of pixeldrain or GoFile. I dont know their pricing tho... (Free or x$/TB)

only issue I came across was Mega refusing to download to my android's secret folder unless I used the app but besides that it was fine

If you want to use the google drive version and it's giving you exceed quota message, try this: 1. Go to the list of downloads and click the 3 dots symbol on the right, select organize and then "add shortcut" 2. Create a new folder in your own drive 3. Put the shortcut inside that folder 4. From your own google drive page, right click the folder and download it

I was able to download it with Google Drive just fine, however I know other developers have used itch.io that's connected to patreon so that you can only download it if you're a patron. If you're looking for other options to share that might be one route to go

It worked for me after about an hour. The Google error message made me think it was a temporary DL limit. I don't remember what the message said, but it worked a few hours after the email saying 0.8.0 was available.

Did not even try Google Drive, I just went with Mega cause I prefer it to any other option, honestly. Is Mega not a good choice for you? I've checked some other popular services, but pricing models for all are very much aiming at folks sharing large files constantly :/

I downloaded the Android version just fine from the Google Drive. In the past, too much traffic on the Drive caused me to have to use MEGA, but that worked fine as well.

I was able to download it fine. If you have an android you have to keep the drive open while downloading and give your drive app permission to open it

Haven't faced that issue. MEGA's worked great for me but yeah there is that file transfer limit but for a game of MPP's size, it shouldn't be a problem.
