The head shapes are more oblong this time, with a cute little cheek ridge
Hot new strat: for perfectly sized and placed eyes, I cut out my shape in a thin sheet of craft foam and stamped them into the head. Did the same with the mouth!
I cut down *flat* toothpicks to act as lil sharp teeth
Flat colors went on, and onto detailing with pastels
Here I wanted to showcase how much you need to pack light colors onto dark or vibrant bases. Pic 1 is before spraying with MSC, pic 2 is after. It really dilutes the pigment, you might need to do a couple passes for desired effect. I put white down so I can go back with yellow later.
Once again, I forgot to take photos the whole way through, but hey, look at these cute little things! Starting on hair today!

I don't use primer often, paint sticks very well to polymer clay. I seal with MSC

Cuties. Do you add a coat of primer before painting and what kind of sealer do you use?
