🕑 Added 2022-10-19 13:30:39 +0000 UTCAgain, I want to thank everyone for their patience with the Orca kit, I'm still waiting on getting the presupports back from Atlas, which I'm hoping will be sometime this week, then I can get it all printed/test fit and uploaded~ DeadlyPrintStudios is also working on another round of effect parts for this one, but it'll be a bit longer before I have any images/more info on that, and I have something in the works for November that while less to do with the tabletop mini side of things, is still model related, and something I'm *really* excited about~
In the meantime for next months kit, I've been working on some more aerial themed weird mechs. These are based and rendered on a standard 25mm base and there are a bunch of scaled render comparisons up on the discords WIP board that won't make there way here~
I get to do some different stuff with these and the next kit set of mech and I'm having just a good time sitting down and messing with some less common design motifs.
Everything will be (for the most part) swappable with the previous goby kits in case you want them to have actual legs, or you want gobbys with thruster packs~
The theme is having the ductless fans shown here, as well as thruster packs/wing aerials/and an option for just the backpack. New arm sculpts as the ones rendered are placeholders. with the unobtrusively mounted to the underarm so to be out of the way, but I'll probably also have a variant or two for that as well. These will probably all be mounted to some kind of provided flight stand, given the nature of their design. pointy legs and monopods don't stand well on there own xD
