[November Release] Myriacor [MYR] Leviathan class Construct
🕑 Added 2024-10-31 23:44:50 +0000 UTCThe Myriacor is a thing I've wanted to try modeling for a very long time now xD Ever since TheWarsinger posted their massive Canoptek back in 2021. I love this kind of form so very much, but I was never quite sure how I'd pull something like this off in CAD in a way that looks good, but I think I did a pretty good interpretation of it~
So in this set, there are individual body segments, so you can assemble one however long you want, or in whatever pose strikes your fancy, but there is also a pre-posed set that consists of body segments posed in the same manner as the renders here, with a variant that's smooth backed, and one that's socketed for the aerials on its back~ There are a few optional pieces and assemblies, but this one for the most part is pretty straightforward~ I wanted to do something big, but also simple because the end of this month has been mostly me packing up house to move again xD
As always the files will release on the 4th of the month (Nov/4th/2024) With supports by Atlas3DSS. However, this whole kit is already done and set up, so everything for it should release on the 4th. I've already got one sitting on my desk and I have to say it's pretty imposing~
This one has been mostly a vanity project and a bit of a deviation from anything that's specifically analogous, so I hope you don't mind that too much xD Next month will be back into some more Aspects, and I'll have some concept art for them set up in its own post~
Anyway I've gotta get back to packing, I hope you all enjoy this one, I actually had a pretty good time building my test print~

Congrats on the first printer! I recommend tuning it with an amerilabs town test, and if you need help interpreting the results and how to calibrate, my discord has a whole board for that~

I've been subbed for about a year at this point, even though I didn't have a printer. But just got the Saturn 4U so I'm glad I made a good choice

Yeah, same printer, Saturn 3U is just basically that out the box with sume decent time spent calibrating the resin with the amerilabs town ~

My Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra prints like that right out of the box. Any decent modern resin printer should give prints with perfect detail and nearly invisible layer lines.

I actually had fun putting this one together XD I don't know if that'll be everyone's experience but I found it to be pretty easy~ I also built the one with the preposed body sections, and not the one made of individual segments XD

Still part of the VC, but was definitely more of a vanity project than a typical analog, similar to the chuckling sword I made for the fishmech~ I plan to do stuff like that a little bit more in this line when the motion hits me~
