Yea I totally agree. We need better transportation especially in the suburbs the bus isn’t enough especially in snowy weather. Luckily there are some projects on the line (inter borough line, metro north four additional stations. But it’s still needs more
Outside New York, there's a growing movement to advocate for better city planning and policies to create more walkable communities. I'd like to talk more about what that activism looks like in the future. The big reason I stay in NYC is because I don't need a car.
I never drive when I’m in the city. Although because I do live in the suburbs (and public transportation isn’t great )I have no choice but to drive. That’s only thing I missed when I lived in Brooklyn (the subway and east access to everything)
