It seemed in your outro that you assumed the settlers were in cahoots with Saffron. I never read it that way. She just infiltrated their tribe because she knew about the flimsy wedding ritual and saw it as an easy way to find a mark that she could play. I dom't think the settlers were involved with the scavenger men.

Partially the thing with Inara and Mal is that their relationship would be more complicated if they were a couple. Mal doesn't like Inara's line of work, so think how it would be if he was her boyfriend.

After the much heavier previous episode, this was the perfect refresh of lighthearted laughs haha. I feel like we got to see another side of the crew, and just how close they are with each other through the way they all made jabs at Mal. Mal just has such a range to him and you just never know what you're gonna get with him in each episode haha Jayne is just so.... Jayne. Nothing more, nothing less LOL. I definitely didn't like him much after the first few episodes but that quickly changed for sure!

This is the episode where I went from just really liking this show a whole lot to full blown in love with this show. Then the next several episodes that follow just kept getting better tuning my obsession. They really hit their stride here. So, buckle up buckaroo, it's gon get goooood.

😭😭😭 You're not already almost halfway done the series (and movie) it's fine 😭😭😭 "Ok she's evil." ahahahhahaha, for awhile I thought you were going to join us in the special hell! You're like the perfect person to react to this show. You're very in-the-moment, and you seem to enjoy character-driven stories with lots of lore, and it's surprising how much lore they pack into 14 episodes + 1 movie. And then there's comic books and other media. It's a lovely 'verse that I hope nobody ever attempts to "reboot"
