Thank you for clearing that up! Leckie's wounds sound so horrible. No wonder why he was suffering so badly. And I can't even imagine what that can do to your brain.. What a terrifying description :(

The best analogy I can come up with for getting hit with the overpressure of significant blast is like like getting in a car wreck at high speed. It is sudden, it is violent, it hurts, and it can kill you. It can tear and crush internal organs, and it really jacks your brain up. When it's really dusty you can watch it come at you. It's like time slows down almost, but you can never move fast enough. It's awful.
