Glad you're feeling better! You really nailed it when you mentioned having the chills from the conversation between Mon Mothma and Tay Kolma. That's one of the many great things about this show, it creates such tension through the brilliance of the narrative and the dialogue, it's not relying on lightsabers and blaster fights. As much as I love that stuff, it always feels like a snack, whereas Andor is a meal. It's prestige television, operating on another level. You seemed a bit confused about the Clem thing so I wanted to hopefully clear it up. If you recall, Clem was the codename Cassian used during the Aldhani heist. At the time it seemed like a random name pulled out of thin air, but in this episode it's revealed that Clem was the name of his adoptive father, Maarva's husband, the man you saw in the flashbacks when they saved Cassian from the wreckage of the ship on Kenari as a boy. And it was also revealed (although without much context) that Clem was hanged by the Empire in the town square 13 years ago. So that was the significance of the name. I'm crazy excited to watch the next 3 episodes with you! I know you already watched at the time I leave this comment (couldn't watch this right away, been busy). Now you know why Luthen is my favorite Stellan Skarsgård role :p

This episode really highlighted the cost of a rebellion. Both individually, and with relationships, and all the sacrifices that come with. But also showed how much hope it can raise, and in ways that you might have not expected. And for Cassian, I totally see that he just doesn't completely 'believe' in the cause yet. And am really excited to see how this series is going to take us from here to Rogue One The scene toward the end with Meero getting confronted about what she's doing and having to defend her actions to her superior was soooo well acted. The way her superior listened but also asked all the tough questions, while she maintained her composure. As someone who has to sit through a lot of tough meetings at work, the tension was spot on LOL Also, yes the music! I was gonna mention it this episode. A lot of the calm background themes remind me of the music that plays on the Normandy in Mass Effect and I love that vibe :) And the pumping beats when Cassian is on the beach planet was so far from what I'm used to in Star Wars, but I loved it hahaha

"I'll be worried about you!" "That's just love. Nothing you can do about that." As you've rightly called out, Maarva stands as Cassian's moral compass. Such a great and gutting scene. Mon Mothma and Luthen's conversation also stands out; it does such a great job of setting the ground for the moral stakes of this conflict. I can't wait for you to watch the next arc! Great reaction as always.

Being intentionally vague, but watching just one episode this week, then three, then two does actually work out a bit better
