Would be neat to see you connect your phone via bluetooth to some receiver. Then have your caller id run through the device and display on the homelab cable! If thats even possible

I think you'd want some VOIP service in the mix — a number each router could convert from analog over to VOIP. I'm sure a lot more is involved too haha

Very cool. If two retro-lab people had 2900 voice routers with FXS cards, what would be involved to make it so LAB1 could call LAB2? I am guessing some sort of VPN tunnel between the two labs.
