I saw you mention that the tape stuff came in a lot of packing peanuts, and that you threw them all away. You know that most packing peanuts are made of corn starch, and if you put them in water, they fully dissolve into nothing. Just put water in the sink, dump the peanuts in them, and then flush the water out. No need to put them in garbage bags.

Tape is interesting :-) Back in the days I used to work with Exabyte tape drives and libraries... they had some interesting libraries like the 440/480 which was a carousel-style library... Exabyte were based in Colorado I think... they pushed the 8mm standard to the max with their Mammoth drives... sadly I think Exabyte are no longer... and libraries are hard to find, and most likely need work in order to function... Almost all tape drives are LTO now kinda sad ;-)

So much comedy in the tape drive video 😂😂😂 That was great! Reminded me of trying to solve parallel port device issues by switching the port between Normal, ECP, EPP, ECP+EPP and changing that setting whenever things randomly broke. Printers... lol, massive golden "girl stuff" paperclip Is Chloe a ragdoll? :)
