The Dragon's Rest

Kibri Oakbright

They all look fantastic as always

Colin

Thank you. I found them.

Hey Colin, a couple of Essentials - Dragon Drops\Tools\DD Plug v01 in opposite corners is enough to hold the floor in place.

Colin

What parts if any do I use to attach the two bases together ?

The Dragon's Rest

There's been a few show on the Discord that have printed no problem. The breaking off at the column sounds like an odd place for it to happen. If you can jump on the Discord and post pics might be easier to troubleshoot if there's a printing problem https://discord.gg/ZdA9gm6SxV

Great, FANtastic, mind-blowing work... Outstanding Thank you

Success. Had to go with my own supports. If you can think of a way to strengthen the connection between the chain and the top corners of the cage, it would help a lot. Even once printed and supports removed, it is a fragile item. On to primer and paint.

All in all I've been having a good time printing and painting Dragon's Rest files. https://photos.app.goo.gl/7TegbR1DRHEWvnHm6

3 attempts at printing and removing the supports with as much care as I can, and no joy. Following Dragon's Rest recommendation and taking the model in to the slicer and replacing the supports. I'm not optimistic. Anyone else able to print this and remove the supports without braking it?

Philippe - Broken Arms Workshop

right, can be intersting

The Dragon's Rest

Hey Jeff, if you right click the part in your slicer you can split it to parts and delete the supports to add manual ones if you want.

I cannot separate the supports from the chain/pully. Those supports are to heavily connected on my prints. Oddly it brakes the column off before the chain. I think I see a .5 mm separation. Can you try an alter support, or can I get a version that does NOT have your supports?
