Chapter 1 Information
🕑 Added 2015-02-08 05:58:17 +0000 UTC Hello everyone! I wanted to give you all a status update. I am going to try and get better at that, I swear!Anyways, all hail Balduindrake! Thanks to him, we have a working battle system! As you can see in the picture, things are actually working! This makes me incredibly excited. I'm inputting battle skills in as we speak! While there will not be a ton in chapter 1, it will be enough to get things rolling :-).
So, current status on Aylia's Story: First, I hope to finish inputting the chapter 1 events this week. If I am super productive (crosses fingers), I will also finish all the battle skills/enemies, and encounter system (remember, I am stupidly optimistic...). Then, I will just have the artwork to finish and a short beta period. I will shoot you all another update next week. Hopefully, it is an update saying, all that is left is the artwork. A note on the beta. Once I get chapter 1 ready for release, I will be releasing it on Patreon for a week before going public. I kindly ask that people test the game, but not to share it beyond Patreon.
I will be uploading the game for public consumption a mere week later. I ask this, because I KNOW that there will be bugs to fix, and I would rather release the fixed version publicly. I can't stop you all from sharing it, but would really appreciate it. Thanks!
Also, I just noticed I hit $1,800! Incredible. I will do my best to not disappoint!

A boob grab could never just be extra dialogue! You must see such wonderful behavior to truly experience it :-). Who knows what might happen in battle with Bogwort around, that shady misfit.

Thanks for your support! I appreciate it. In reality, there is no real risk in pledging prior to chapter 1. I am not running a paid update until chapter 2, so if you play chapter 1 and decide this is not a game you want to support (hopefully, not the case), then you can easily cancel your pledge. Anyways, good to see you here Pseudolurker!
And now I'm glad I decided "heck with it" and opted to support prior to Chapter One coming out. Can't wait to do some crazy experimentation on Chapter One! Lol.

Yeah, all hail to me! Just kidding, yummytiger did a TON of customization on rpg maker, the amount of work already put into this is immense - really looking forward to the first chapter as well. @yummitiger: Will be taking another look at improving the bogwort command list today/tomorrow. Got some ideas on how to improve it!

I was thinking with the battle system: As Bogwort is supposed to be quite the pervert, it would be fun if he attempted to use Aliya's focus on the battle to his advantage. Maybe if she gets knocked down he could rush in to cop a feel, and the like. I think it would just be extra dialogue, but it would be funny and fit the characters well.

Thanks, it is coming along... finally! Those are cave rats :-), and I totally jacked the art from shutterstock (redrew it, but it is not my design). I may tend to do that a bit with some enemies.

Well, hopefully nobody has paid anything because if so, I've not seen it :-). I'm not running chapter 1 as a paid update. Honestly, I'm just hoping people can refrain from sharing for a week. I understand some may fake pledge and download the beta. It is what it is I guess.

a suggestion put a password and only give it to people after they had paid at least 1 month just to be sure
