Full Time Has Begun
🕑 Added 2017-01-15 21:59:36 +0000 UTC Hello,I needed to say something, since it's been a couple weeks and most probably do not read comments. I finished up my work obligations and should receive a fat check next week. Starting tomorrow, I'm officially working full time on YTGaming and Aylia's Story. The official clock begins, as I'm going to try a non-hobbyist approach. The next few months should be telling on what you can expect going forward. I don't plan to be overly active posting here until chapter 1 drops, but after that, I'd like to get back to posting 1-2 times a week with brainstorms, teasers, polls, etc.
The turtle will make a reappearance to finish his trek as well--mainly, cause I want to post the image with him at the end!

It has been awhile since I posted a full post. I had a number of people that were getting frustrated from seeing posts pop up in their mailbox, getting excited, and then it not being the update. I figured I would simply make sure the next post had something to play. It takes a lot of work to build a game, even in RPG Maker. I'm putting in the hours, and I'm making progress. Best I can offer is that I'm not stringing you along to collect money every month. I have it set up not to do that.

So, if I'm understanding this correctly, it will be quite a while yet before Chapter 1 is properly released, but the final product will be totally worth the wait. Can't wait to see Aylia's majestic assets. That's alright. I'll just keep myself busy playing The Last Sovereign as painfully slow as possible to sate my insatiable lust for a good Hentai game. Keep up the good work, Yummy!

You're pretty close. When I finished all the primary CGs for Aylia and the rivals and had all the quests written, I posted about it excitedly, thinking it was almost done. There is so much behind the scenes stuff though, and it has eaten my time away. I started the "editing" process and began to realize how much was actually left beyond the big artwork and questlines. I also started adding little events, because I couldn't help myself. Some of this is the stuff that a true project manager would probably nix and release without, and I may end up doing that in the future a bit. The other big area I neglect (as I just admitted to Balduindrake), was scripting. I kept pushing that to the side, planning to tackle it later. Now, most scripts were done and are fine, but I got some assistance on achievements and a few other things that I'm finally looking at today. The remaining workload is not so overwhelming, but as I said in a message a few days ago, I'd actually estimate based on what I know now that the turtle should have been around day 6. Things have settled down with the new kid, I was getting about 4-5 hours a day to work, now I should get a few more going forward. Thankfully, if I hadn't gone full time, it truly would have ground to a stop with the new kid. This IS my only job now, I'm treating the next 5-6 months as my final job interview and will get you guys some game to play.

From everything I've been able to put together, Chapter One was mostly complete as far as systems and story, and just had a full art revamp to the newer style. I'm guessing most of the remaining work involves getting Chapter One to work (and port over saves) with everything configured for later chapters removed. So hopefully sometime soon!

I have almost completely lost interest in every other H game on the market or announced while waiting for this thing. No pressure, Yummy. Seriously chill out and take a breather, dude. I've waited this long and I haven't hyped myself up so I don't think you should worry about us all being disappointed.
