I hope to see more. I enjoy your ridiculous humor. Also 10,000 dollars per update seams nice. You have a large fan base, maybe you can crowdsource some of the work.

If you played any of the alphas, then I don't doubt it. Versions .01, .02, .03, and .08 were "alphas" that were not designed to be shared beyond a limited number of patrons. They were meant to be tech demos to show off a few early improvements like standing portraits, faceset, or new dialogue. The only prologue I claim to be a playable demo is the one released August 2015 and linked on the front page. Everything else is in the progress of transitioning to an entirely different organization structure, so it will have a shit ton of bugs. That is explicitly stated with the download of those alpha versions, but I'm going to add a large disclaimer in future versions.

Magics&Mundane

what engine is Aylia's story made in if i may ask and do you have someone helping you out with mappings and such? i checked over your prologue game and found tons of bugs in it..X)

Any updates?

MikeMasters

Do the best you can. It's all we can ask for.

You are correct. I've ran ONE pledge since I started this whole thing, last April. That pledge was for Hunter's Quest (although I did say I would release chapter 1 as well). Hunter's Quest was released in July 2016. The plan is that when I take a pledge, you'll get something for it, as opposed to paying month after month without much progress. I do plan on changing "major updates" to be a little less major, as full chapters are just not doable for one person in a reasonable timeframe. I'll be talking about that next month, but I'm thinking about 2-3 hours of gameplay with multiple scenes per pledge, so about a 3rd of a chapter.

NedStark

i mean....You dont get the money from patreons till a major game update right? thats what it says so that means that that 10 or 11k that has been pledged will only be yours if you release the game right? if thats the case then i dont see the problem with you taking as long as you want to complete it. if you were taking money from everyone and releasing dates for the release and months and months go by and you just get money for nothing, i could see people complaining but if its not the case then its ok. so many developers on here are thieves, and so many pledgers are blind. it sucks cause people will eventually grow tired and not support as much eventually. I hope to get to play this game one day...but ill wait to pledge until you release something.

This will be the first deadline I've created while doing this as my job. That is a big distinction, whether people believe it or not. I have a consistent work schedule, and I've was fairly successful in my past employment. I took on plenty of projects and completed them, so I know I can do it. You are right, this has become kind of a deadline monster, and I want to slay it. People say don't give out release dates, but they mean don't give out release dates and fail to meet them (at least by a year). I want to slay this monkey on my back, and the best way to do that is to show I can properly plan out a month or two in advance and hit the date. When I'm working a full time schedule, that becomes a much more likely situation.

Dumai12

While I'm a little surprised you put up another deadline, I'm actually simply curious to see if you can do it this time. I think this is the first time you've put up a deadline while full time no? Honestly it won't bother me if you miss it, since that's obviously what we've come to expect. It kind of feels like you're trying to fight a "deadline monster" and won't give up till you kill it at least once. The only thing I'd suggest is an easier to reach deadline in the future. Since you've had trouble so far, waiting till the product is 99% or more done and then giving a 1 or 2 week release notice would be safer and far more reliable. You've given yourself 2 months, which I assume means there is still a decent chunk left to implement, and as others have pointed out, "random happenings" can easily cause a delay again. The further the release date, the more likely it is to be delayed.

Voodoo Monkey

This is going to be really sweet, I totally understand that when you're quite is when a lot of shit is getting done :D

YummyTiger Gaming

If I didn't think I could keep it, I wouldn't make it. I don't expect you to trust me, and since you're not pledging to the campaign, I'd assume you don't. But, if I never made another release date, then I'd never have a chance to re-earn people's trust that I CAN do it. Somewhere along the line, I let people change my approach to all this. I backed away and started posting 1-2 times a month. That's not how I want my Patreon to be, and I'm not going to let it end up that way. I want to post random brainstorms, updates, create release dates, post teasers, etc. If you expect another delay, then ignore my posts and I'm sure you'll find out at some point when it gets released.

To be honest, I expect another delay. No offense, but every time you make a deadline, it's delayed. Most of my trust in your words is gone. Until there is work shown for it, I won't believe it. If you didn't keep making deadlines and delay them over and over again, people would trust you. Don't make deadlines if you can't keep them, just release when they're ready. No "It will come out on this date." Just post it when it's fully done.

Karmaldia

So I shall be honest, completely overlooking the deadline you've set for yourself. So long as you deliver some time in my lifetime I shall never hold any complaints. Just want some of that Eliandre booty to do with as I see fit. Best of luck on meeting your goals I will be here at the finish line waiting for you.

YummyTiger Gaming

The power of porn... never underestimate the power of porn.

YummyTiger Gaming

Me too.

YummyTiger Gaming

I did, and I guess it's insanity to do that same thing over and over. I just don't like the idea of leaving people wondering when or if it will get released. Additionally, setting a date gives me a concrete deadline to push towards, it makes me work harder than leaving it up in the air. I could go on never giving release dates, and I'm sure it would be fine, but I want to earn people's trust back over time. By setting a date and actually hitting it, I can start doing that.

Furanky

Seems like there is always hope left <3

TheBob

Good luck YT, i really hope you will do it.

Let's be polite here and say at least 3 years.

xellos49698

Oh dear, YummyTiger, I hope your on target this time. Best of luck to you on meeting this goal.

Saigon

Its almost a month from now - lots of time for things to go wrong. Seriously though i do hope you finally release the damn thing but i also wonder how long until Chapter 2? A year?

Anno Nymous

Noooo! You said no more deadline! Breaker of oath! :P

Dehkia

I'll trust you on this one, hopefully we're all out of surprises... or else YTurtle is getting cooked!

James

Ehhh... Im not gonna get my hopes up. Hopefully you'll do what you say this time.( I never say this to creators but) rest less and work harder! Good luck as always.

Miene

Late april fools joke? Who can say..

YummyTiger Gaming

No worries on the taking my time thing, I've got that part mastered.

YummyTiger Gaming

I'll make you eat those words! Of course, if I do, you still win... damn it :)

Oh boy another deadline. Let's flip a coin and see what unbelievable things will happen this time to push it even further in the future. :D

PaddyOFurniture

Another month! Outrageous! I should demand my money back! Wait... um... never mind. Forget I said anything. Nothing to see here.

Good luck on your Endevours Yummy, waiting patiently for the release.

Erwin

Woo! Can't wait.

Admiral Cheesecake

Sweet. As a side note the poor progress Turtle should get an appearance somewhere in the game proper. He's been through a lot.

Ken

That is super exciting! I am really glad to hear it. Thanks for all of the hard work! And much better to take your time to make it perfect than to try and rush it.

YummyTiger Gaming

That's the plan. Now, I need to fulfill my end of the bargain.

YummyTiger Gaming

Well, I have to start rebuilding trust somewhere. I'm not going to develop in secret, as that's not my style. I'd rather make more posts and have fun interacting with you guys. And, the past two years was more of a product of my procrastination than anything else. By not charging monthly and not working on it full time, I found it far too easy to justify putting it off most nights. Thanks for sticking with me, despite my failures.

Nine Horse Hitch

A teaser this month!

ArdenW

Something playable this month and full chapter 1 in May? I'll believe it when I see it. Until then, I'll play more Harem.
