Quick Update
🕑 Added 2016-07-12 23:49:20 +0000 UTC Hey everyone,I did not post a weekly plan this week, I'll resume that next week. I'm aiming to fully release v1.0.1 of Hunter's Quest very soon. I had hoped it would be in this post, but I'm still sifting through emails and fixing the reported minor issues. I want to get most of them fixed, as once I release v1.0.1, I'm not touching Hunter's Quest for at least a week...
I'm also aware that a number of people who pledged $10+ in April did not receive the message with the beta release. I apologize for that, and want to say that Patreon's message system is not always the easiest to send group messages and ensure that everyone is included. I plan on evaluating two things after this release 1) how I'll be doing group messages going forward, and 2) how I'll be accepting bug reports. I want to improve both so that it is not so inefficient and people don't get left behind! On that note, I'll get to all the new messages over the next few days, but my priority right now is fixing and finishing HQ and getting it out the door.
I comfortable at this point saying that v1.0.1 will be released by Thursday, at the latest. I'm giving myself a 48 hour cushion to ensure that I hit this release date, so don't be surprised if it is earlier. Still, for once I'd like to give a date and not miss it...
Anyways, back to the grind. In Aylia's Story news, I closed the content poll for Bogwort's little adventure. Interesting results. Getting those posted will be next on my Patreon agenda after releasing HQ.

If you plan to track bug on Aylia story too, you should consider using a framework like mantis or redmine. It can run on a really basic hosting and mantis, for example, is free.

Last Friday and today were the only times I'd say Hunter's Quest took a front seat to Aylia's Story. I can assure you, my game remains my primary focus. It's just, with the release finally coming, it is getting more attention in the Patreon stuff. I'll get back to Aylia's Story Patreon posts and teasers next week. I promise.

I've got to say that I'm feeling a little disappointed by how much work - from the announcements, at least - appears to be going into the Hunter's Quest translation vs Ayliah's Story. I'm not able to get a copy of Hunter's Quest for the translation to be of any use to me. I cannot create an account on dlsite because I already have an account at dlsite-ecchi, and I'm not able to log into dlsite with my dlsite-ecci account for some reason I cannot understand (I'm guessing it's because my account name is already taken for the group, and I cannot use it on that site). When I try to purchase the game as a Guest, I cannot go past the transaction stage - again for reasons I cannot understand, the transaction fails and I do not get the game. Unless I can obtain/purchase the game from another member here, the amount of work going into the HQ translation is somewhat useless to me. I just hope that the next release of Ayliah's Story is worth it...when it finally arrives.
