The Game of Aylia's Story Chapter 1
🕑 Added 2016-10-11 22:12:15 +0000 UTC Hello everyone!Here is that proper update I spoke about. The final edit and polish of chapter 1 has begun. It feels pretty damn wonderful to have the entirety of Chapter 1 in place. Given everything, YummyTiger has become YummyTurtle until Chapter 1 is done :-)
Like the progress chart, I'm going to move the turtle to where I am at with each update post. I don't know how long it will take to go through and fully edit, fix, and polish the game. The prologue was much, much smaller, and that took me a little over a week (of course, I added the overlook CG and the potato sack pulldown CG during that edit). For the chart, the turtle will represent the point to which the game is in its final form. So, when the turtle is at "Day 1" the game is playable through Day 1. In an effort to keep things rolling, I will be pushing it out to my alpha team as I go for testing. I don't want to finish and have another 3-4 day wait for you guys.
Well, I think that covers the chart. Back to work for me. I have some more time today and will be able to work on it tonight. I'm hoping to get that turtle moved by tomorrow! Go turtle go!

End of day 3, an abnormal stillness in the air. Reports of the goblin have risen again along with screams and the sound of slapping. There have been report of the goblin flashing his chest at people. The Guard has arrived but is clearly asleep. The goblin seem to avoid the Guard for the most part.

The end of day two of the turtle headed to the promise land and we believe the turtle is still alive. There is a man in black dragging what appears to be a man to a building with a goblin scream words which can not be repeated on the air. The goblin was maced and tasered to no effect. Slapping proved to be marginally effective.

No, when the turtle is on Prologue, it means the prologue is done, edited and ready to go. The prologue was mostly ready to go to begin with, but I had to update to the revamped graphics and facesets. I also tweaked a few scenes and added a little to surprise you veterans who've played it a few times. Got to keep things interesting!

No, it is a midpoint, so there might be a few more critical decisions, but all the days should be fairly enjoyable. A "day" in Aylia's Story can last quite awhile. It is not a timed system or anything, it tends to shift upon completion of key quests and then you have the night event options.

XD Whoo! I'm glad you're making so much progress. One thing though. I wish you didn't have that as the title of this post. I saw it in my email first, and the title nearly made me shit my pants. I thought somehow you released the game already, and I had to smack myself to calm down to remember that there was no warning.
