Development Update

I'm excited to say the first MV release is fully playable through the prologue. It features new artwork, new music, updated maps, and events. There are a few placeholders and some scripts that are not finished, but it is releasable as-is. So, I can say with certainty there will be a release this month. The plan is to release it next Friday on the 27th.
I did start working on the game full time mid last week, and it's been a godsend. I feel like I've accomplished more in a few days than I accomplished June and July combined. I will be continuing to work full time through the end of this month. My hope is that I'm able to replace all the placeholders and maybe add a few extra surprises to the release next week.
As I stated back in May (and clearly missed the mark), I'm hoping to get on a monthly release schedule going forward. Even if that means the monthly release is short on content. The plan is to only charge if the content warrants a charge. I will be upfront and very clear if a release will be charged. This release next Friday WILL NOT be a pledged release.
I will also continue to keep posting teasers and hopefully get back into the groove of a lore post or two. I'm pretty damn excited to see this move forward.

In the time it took you to get this far, many people was a freshman in university and is now graduated or dropped out from colleges everywhere. Except for ones studying to get their phds. They have one year left to go. :p

It's only the prologue. I'm hoping I can get all the VX Ace Chapter 1 content into the game in September. That would include 3-5 more days (depending on how you play).

Woohoo! Great news. See if you can resist the temptation to add much before the release-- important thing is that the release happens as promised, not how much is in it. Get everything finalized now, set it aside, and if you have time left use it to get a jump on the next update.
