Cinemeta Ratings and Badges for Stremio
🕑 Added 2024-08-27 16:01:43 +0000 UTCWe have a really nice announcement today in favor of Stremio users. You can now add ratings to the official Cinemeta catalogs too! You just need to follow the steps from this link: https://cinemeta.ratingposterdb.com/
Also, as of today Tier 3+ users can use badges on posters in Stremio! To do this, simply go to the poster manager: https://manager.ratingposterdb.com/
Then log in with your RPDB API Key and enable badges. The badges will show for resolution (4k, 1080p, 720p) and Dolby Vision or HDR.
We would like to remind all Stremio users that depending on the Tier benefits your API Key has, you can always customise the posters on the poster manager webpage: https://manager.ratingposterdb.com/
(customising the posters can take between 24-48h to take effect due to local Stremio app image caching)

There are currently 9 Stremio addons that support RPDB. (and more on the way soon!)

Hi! I already DM'd you with this question, but just in case - going to post it right here as well. When configuring posters to appear in Cinemeta, is it possible to make them also appear in items saved to the library and in "Continue watching" area? So far they only appear in "popular/featured" tabs on the home screen and in "Discover". Thanks in advance!

After going through the configuration at https://cinemeta.ratingposterdb.com/configure from a Desktop device (Windows, MacOS or Linux) you should only close the Stremio app completely and start it again (or restart the device) and you should see the ratings for the Cinemeta catalogs.

Hi I have streamio with cinemata, and have configure https://cinemeta.ratingposterdb.com/configure in my streamio, Movies - (popular. new, featured) I still didnot get rating poster, how can i get activated ?

does Stremio android TV get " Backgrounds with Ratings and Certifications " in tier 2 ? I upgraded and don't see any changes from tier 1 tbh
