Huge Update
🕑 Added 2025-03-31 17:23:08 +0000 UTCI've been working on this for a long time, and it is finally time to unveil it!
So what changed?
Tier 1 now gets new perks:
- Posters with custom language (previously tier 2)
Tier 2 get new perks too:
- Choose between 11 different ratings and the order (previously tier 3)
- Badges on posters / backdrops (including the new age rating badge based on Common Sense Media) (previously tier 3)
Tier 3 also gets new perks:
- Rating bar position (8 options)
- Rating bar background color
- Rating bar background opacity
- Rating bar font color
- Badge positions (6 options)
- Image size options (3 options for posters / backdrops)

All official plugins (Stremio, Emby, Plex, Jellyfin, Kodi, etc) and the "RPDB Folders" app have been updated to support the new features! (as well as fixed some bugs)

I have tier 1 for 1 year, but labels are tiny, any way to increase size?

im on tier 1, and from what i can see it download the poster slow, it takes around a minimum to load all, how can we speed up the process. Is it by different tiers?

Hi, if you upgrade to a higher tier Patreon will only request the payment for the price difference

If i'm on a lower tier and want to upgrade. Do I need to pay the full amount again or just the difference from what i'm already paying?

it depends on what setup you have, if you use Stremio then you can change such settings from: https://manager.ratingposterdb.com/ but it may take a few days for the changes to take effect as the older images need to expire from the local app cache

exciting! how do I change the ratings bar to appear down the side of the poster? Im on tier3

Hi, I'm afraid that this is not currently possible because themoviedb.org does not have brazilian portuguese as an option for poster language, they seem to put both portuguese and brazilian portuguese into the same category, when/if this site decides to add brazilian portuguese as a poster language, then RPDB will be able to support it too

Thank you for such great news! Now that we have other languages available as tier 1 subs, may I suggest adding pt-br (Brazilian Portuguese) to the list, please? It’s a shame movies here have different names as the pt option available to us. 😥 Thank you kindly for your great work!!
