Crap... I'm very sorry to hear that. I lost my mother December 29th, 2019.... from the flu. It took her so suddenly, one night I was saying "good night & I love you" to her, then the next she was gone. I know that feeling, so you have my deepest condolences. It will hurt for a long time, but soon you'll be able to soften the edges of the pit in the center of your universe. He's in a better place now, and now your job to live your best life in his memory begins. Because I'm positive he would have wished you to live a good life in his memory. It's the best act of love one can do for their departed. It's a job I've come to know very well myself. If you need a shoulder to cry on, look me up.
