You're not the only one that was disappointed with this film when it came out. My brother and my husband are massive comic book and Sci fi fans. My husband, my brother and I went to see it in the cinema when it was released. I came out of the theatre thinking it was okay , bit of a fun and silly film but I didn't really know that much about x-men. But they were grumbling to each other about how it wasn't as good as they thought it was going to be . One of their main issues was with storm , they did not like how she was portrayed π€·ββοΈ It wasn't enough to put them off seeing the subsequent x-men films but I remember them being disappointed.
