Life happens...
🕑 Added 2025-02-04 16:27:06 +0000 UTCI just can't keep this a personal secret anymore, it's simply affecting my work too much at this point. We found out my mother is terminally ill about two weeks ago. Our world crashed down cause she's not even that old. I had to go back home the same day and I've been here since. She can be at home most of the time but often has to back to the hospital for extra care and checkups. Hospital is 1,5 hours drive one way, and the roads are often rough due to Norwegian winter weather and insane chinese tourists in rental cars who's never seen snow before and drive on the wrong side of the road. I do find comfort in drawing as it helps me relax a bit and takes my mind off things, but I'm not always able to find many hours each day now to do that. It's pretty stressful cause bills still have to be paid.
To top it off my dad had a cerebral hemorrhage last year, so that's also been a challenge.
Currently trying to finish some commissions and rewards for January.
There might be some changes to my setup and tiers here soon too.

Wishing you all the best. My own family has been going through similar. All we can do is handle things the best we can and be there for each other to help shoulder it all. I'm glad you're not just trying to carry it silently.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother and wish good health to both your parents, don't stress about deadlines you set for yourself. Its ok if a few of your arts are a bit late, what's important is you being there for your family. Take care of yourself <3
