🕑 Added 2020-04-13 21:59:24 +0000 UTCWell, my friends, I'm glad to report the Tiger is very close to being finally complete!
Today I definitely finished the entire running gear and other lower portions of the tank. Also completely reworked the mud splatters at the rear. This was done by mixing the same enamels used before with VMS Pigment Texture and just speckling them on. The result is very fragile and easy to rub off, but it's one of the finishing touches and it's not smart to touch the finished model too much anyway, so no worries there.
Also added some obligatory grease leaks around some wheel hubs, done with dark wash and a bit of enamel gloss on top. I also added more earth tones on the sides of the hull, glacis and around the turret.
Tomorrow I'll continue with some wet effects on the hull, more grease and grime, and that should conclude the weathering. After that, it's gonna be the final touches like polished metal edges, probably some wash re-application etc. Can't believe we're finally so close!!! 😆
