Almost done!
🕑 Added 2020-06-25 22:16:58 +0000 UTCHey friends, well the Sherman is almost done. Almost because I feel surprisingly sleepy and it's only midnight! Basically the last stuff left to add are polished metal effects on the hull (the turret is done) and the antenna. And that will be pretty much it... I'll just do it tomorrow and then edit the video.
And yeah, I think we all agreed on another scenic base ๐So I guess there will be one!

Just noticed you snuck in an update with the polished metal barrel around the mantlet and I didn't even notice ๐ honestly in much of my 76mm barrel reference photos it doesn't appear that the tolerances were so tight that a layer of paint was too thick. Mechanically that just seems like too tight a tolerance, you'd think you wouldn't want the barrel to rub with every shot. But I also know Mr. Zaloga tells us they were shinny- so it looks good to me! I will not question his research anymore haha

This is so good and inspirational. It makes me look at my in the box T55. it dosnt deserve a life in a box, unbuilt and unpainted. But I feel some what intimidated, complete out my depth and have no idea where to start. ๐คฃ๐
