Trying to be subtle again
🕑 Added 2020-08-10 07:53:41 +0000 UTCHey friends, another weekend behind us! I only did some work in the evenings, because it was hot and sunny - perfect weather to be outside, but the rust tones are done. I again tried to be subtle so I only applied them over the largest chips or where more chips are close together, and blended the effect a lot.
I'm hoping to have it ready for dust tones today. That means painting the tow cables, headlights, tools and roadwheels. Doesn't sound like too much work, but I can already tell it'll take forever so the chances aren't too high š Anyway, I'll try to report back later!

Of course! The usual ratio is about 5 drops paint, 3 drops drying retarder and 1 drop of tap water :)

Then it reflects how I often feel at the end of the day š

When you do chips do you dilute the paint with water, thinners or not at all? Iām amazed and how you get such fine dots:)
