Needless to say, the base is ready for painting and making those signs was a blast. But also boring. Cutting and texturing wood planks from styrene is always boring!
But damn, I think this base will be much better than the one under the Sherman. I guess I'll start by painting the groundwork which should be pretty straightforward and only then I'll paint the signs, which are removable.
You might see a few places where they sit kinda awkwardly, but I'll "blend" them with the terrain once everything is finished by simply piling more sand and stones around them.
So... more progress tomorrow! 😁Good night!
