It was a tough fight!

I decided to wait until the whole camo was airbrushed before posting any updates, because with just the green applied, well, it looked kinda weird 😁The process was quite tough, I suppose this type of camouflage isn't the best choice for airbrushing beginners like me, but I decided to stay strong and overall I'm quite happy with it.
Unfortunately, no matter how much I tried, I wasn't able to get consistent results out of my airbrush. Sometimes it was spraying perfectly, like beautiful smooth transitions, and then after 20 minutes it would start sputtering, and no amount of cleaning on the tip or adding thinner would make a difference. Trust me, I tried everything. Frustrated, I gave a call to my friend and asked if it, by any chance, could be the airbrush? Turns out it can! Now this is something I never thought about, but the nozzle is a wear item and should be replaced regularly. Well, I've been working with the same needle and nozzle for, I don't even know for how long!
But he also recommended me to think about getting a new airbrush and keeping my current H&S Evolution as a spare one for base coating and other jobs which don't need much precision. So yes, I'm gonna get a second airbrush so we can see if this was the culprit 😁
In other news, MMP paints can't even withstand masking tape or masking putty. The tape tore some of the oxide red down, and masking putty discolored the dark yellow on the lower hull. Way to go.... Anyway, I don't like the oxide color that much, so I'll be definitely adjusting it with some Vallejo colors.
So, the next step is to add dots, paint some details in dark yellow, add decals, varnish and then the oxide red 😊

Had the same tape issues. I was kind of happy with a hard edge camo on a Hetzer. Than wanted to mask the last bit and what happens – the whole side starts to get little chips.

Tamiya and AKRC are bombproof! If you don't have problems with their smell, there's pretty much no need to go water based acrylics. I'll be most likely sticking to them from now on as well.

MMP paints are finicky. I've used with and without the poly, and still have mixed results. I always have to seal them after spraying. Some spray clean, and others require more thinning than others. As far as masking, I even have issues with Vallejo. I've been using Tamiya and Real Colors lately.
