Some LEDs and possible next project?
🕑 Added 2021-01-13 19:34:53 +0000 UTCWhoa, two posts in a row π I finally bought and installed some RGB strips in the geek corner. They're not very strong though, so I don't know how they'll look combined with studio lights.
Also, I was thinking about this Pz II as the next project. I kinda want to do another restoration/revival of an older model and although this one is pretty decent considering it's more than 10 years old, one track run got damaged. I already ordered Friulmodel replacements and was thinking about stripping the paint down, adding a few welds, maybe some more stowage, and giving it a new look?
What do you think, yay or nay? Also, what color scheme? Plain Panzer grey or this fictional camo with dark yellow stripes, just "updated"?

I like the idea of a restoration, as I'm sure theres more than one of us that would like a redo on a kit after following your videos. But I agree this is a pretty sweet looking model now. How about a "brew up"? You could go crazy and use a kit that has an interior and split the tank open. I would really like to see your take on burned out effects.

You should consider some dim warm white leds to put light on front of the boxes. :)
