Some good news

You must've made a difference on my state because the good doc said I might be released into home therapy tomorrow morning or the day after. And I might be able to walk on my own after only 6 weeks!
My ankle was pretty much bone dust after the crash, but some nails and pieces of stainless steel patched it up real quick and will aid in a much faster healing process.
I also have some footage of the air lift, but I'll keep that for later. I'll probably make a short Youtube video talking about everything.

That shit sucks. Back in 1998, I went tumbling down a large hill on my bike. My ankle got caught between the main sprocket and frame. Broke both of the bones just above the foot and cut me pretty deep. More or less hanging on by flesh. After a surgery and 10 weeks, I started walking again. It took almost 2 years to be able to run normally. I rode my bike to class everyday to get flexibility back in it. I happened to bunny hop a speed bump and my ankle let out a loud pop. It scared me, but really didn't hurt that bad. After that I could actually jog a bit. Get well and stay off it. Let it heal good before putting stress on it. Your legs and back hold up all your weight, without those you can't be mobile. If it heals like mine, one ankle will be bigger than the other, lol
