I think you'll have a blast with the heat cutter, just as much as I did when I first used it on this diorama π The wall video is 14 minutes long, plenty of information there!

Brass is actually gold π So I use gold colors for stuff like casings on MG belts and such.

The ugliness is beautiful in itself. I must admit I didnβt fancy this project at all, but Iβve grown to like it, even that camouflage! π³ and tbh the techniques you try are worth the monthly cost in itself ( it saves me wasting money by getting it right first time around rather than cocking everything up!). I am sooooooooooooooo looking forward to the diorama now.....I havenβt used my foam cutter yet ( yes I bought the same one as you!!) so much excitement for next week if the still photos of the wall are anything to go by!

that mud tho π€€ I'm with Eric, him and I are the odd ones out who love this thing and what you have done with it! unrelated question.. any idea how to paint something the colour brass? i don't see any paints from any company that's 'brass colour' π
