🕑 Added 2015-04-01 19:26:30 +0000 UTC I see some of you surreptitiously editing your pledge amount down :) and I understand. A couple of the rewards (such as tutorials) have yet to appear. But worry not. They are coming! This month is proving to be particularly tricky as my day job (editing a kids' web series), several freelance projects (music video and live concert) and the next Captain D episode all collide into a perfect storm of cold-sweat inducing deadlines. But having work is a good thing. And having a growing list of dedicated patrons like you is even better. I started writing the next episode's script last night. Tonight when I get home, I'll revisit the behind-the-scenes footage of last month's episode and get that put together. My friend Enrique (who helps film the videos sometimes) is leaving for LA on the 6th so I plan to film the next episode this weekend, so that he can be involved. My friend Lauren (who plays Holly) is coming back on the 16th, after a 2-year stint in South Korea! How is your April 1st going?

I do not intend to lower my pledge. Instead I will make a small note of it my black book. By the next fiscal year I will come by your house and appraise whatever occurs to me first, removing the chunk of it I feel I am entitled to, in refund-value. That's how the internet works, right?
Yeah sorry... a bit of post-tax panic, and I have to dial back non-essential spending.

Not to worry, Captain D! I'd never ratchet down on you. OK, OK, I'm already at the minimum pledge level, but still... With so many worthy Patreon projects, I can spread my jelly over only so many pieces of toast, or something like that. Keep up the good work!
