Mr. Flare's Corporeal Form
🕑 Added 2017-05-31 19:53:29 +0000 UTC As I mentioned, during the Mandela Effect shoot, I accidentally kicked the Mr. Flare Lamp (which has been there since the very first video) really hard, shattering it into pieces. I've searched every inch of the Internet and couldn't find another copy of this particular desk lamp. I don't think they make it anymore.So I painstakingly glued the lamp back together to have it in the latest episode. It still works so when we began filming I turned it on. But the heat quickly melted all the glue and made it fall apart again.
With me in makeup and only one day to shoot everything, we resorted to just kinda sticking everything back together with tape.
Anyway, now the plan is to have some kind of story where the lamp is dramatically destroyed and Mr. Flare reincarnates in a new earthly vessel.
And I'll be sure to buy like, 5 copies of it.

I had another thought. I think the narrative of the series suggests that Mr. Flare isn't himself the lamp, he merely lives in the lamp. I could see CD accidentally destroying the lamp, and Mr. Flare ending up temporarily homeless, and of course pissed off at CD.
Hey, he's ok! All A's for the last 2 years! Graduating high school on Friday! Hope Mr. Flair recovers and goes on to be a productive successful adult.
Relieved this wasn't a tragic injury in the context of domestic abuse. Please forgive my dark sense of humor. Mr. Flare to this audience member, is your cohost! Now if he started giving psychic predictions, channeling the dead from the other side, describing the auras, or grew hands and doing Ouigi Board sessions, or conspiracy theories I'd have to get all skeptical instead of enjoying him as a character. I really like Holly, too!!! I checked her channel about a year ago, but it seemed like very serious topics. But she's hilarious! Thanks for featuring her in your awesome videos. Feel better, Mr. Flare! When you trip over your dog or cat accidently and hurt them, it sucks :( Oh yeah, when you have kids and your carrying your little guy everywhere cause they need that sometimes, and then trip over a step in your own backyard and fall in slow motion. Weird mammalian instinct shifts from throwing out your arms to break your fall, strangely results in you taking the fall with every part of your body....and GOD NO! That horrible sound of his little head still smacks on the concrete!
I was about to suggest the same thing as Dan, a "doctor who" lamp.....would definitely appeal to me. I like the doctor, I like him (I assume he's a "he") a lot...

I'm so sorry for your loss. I was watching a 2008 video of yours earlier and noticed Mr Flare, not sure how I hadn't noticed him before. It's okay. Things end, and things begin 😍
