2020 Vision

Hope you're having an agreeable first day of the year.
When we last spoke, I was co-brainstorming the next episode's script on a livestream with our new pal Sammy. We have since finished that script, then I filmed & edited the video over the course of a week and a half.
Now all that stands between you and seeing it... is a little over 110 visual effects shots that I'm struggling to complete. I admit I've really bitten of more than I can chew. Feels like I'm facing a final boss in a game. I've been feeling this more and more with each video in 2019... So I'm recruiting some help. The holidays made it difficult to solicit this help in time, but now it's full steam ahead!
I think the episode is really promising, featuring more "debunks" than I've ever tackled in a single video before, so I'm hoping it's worth the wait.
LET ME JUST SAY...
I know the output of Disillusion Industries has seemed slow (though on paper, I somehow delivered the proper amount of content for the year). I want to you to know that 2020 will be a much more exciting chapter. I have so many ideas, both creative and technical, that I want to make a reality. And I think it's finally time to do it as a team.
Your generous support has made everything I've achieved so far possible. But 'Captain Disillusion' has been a one-person show for way too long. If quality is to be maintained (and improved) without slowing down even further, the CD family needs to expand. So that's my goal for the year.
New voices, new talent, new concepts and a new approach to getting it all done.
I sincerely hope you'll stick around and help me achieve this!

Definitely prefer fewer videos of higher quality than just pumping stuff out because you feel like you have to hit some deadline

I don't think a single one of your supporters has complained (or felt resentment) if you deliver a video slightly later than some arbitrary date. Keep doing what you do, and I for one will be happy.
