As do we all for different reasons. No one can have 100% good days! Just got to do what you can. It is great that you have an understanding family. A good support system is very important for people with OCD I have learned. 🤗🌸 Wish you well Danny!!

Thank you Mandy, I have good days and bad days, thankfully my family know enough about it now that if I don't speak to them for a couple of days they know I'm just having a bad OCD day.

I am so sorry to hear that Danny. I have come to understand how crippling OCD can really be. And am now bothered of the common misconceptions people have of it. I am glad you were able to find help in therapy , that you are still here and you have found a way to deal with it. It takes great strength to manage it and you should be proud about the days you can. Keep Strong Danny.

I have had severe OCD since I was 13 (I'm now 26), it's a living nightmare, there can be days were I don't leave the house or see my family because I'm to scared to see them because my brain makes me think that something horrible might happen, it's gotten better thanks to therapy and I'm able to deal with it more now that I'm older but as a kid it ruined my life. I have self-harmed and attempted suicide 3 times in the past 7 years because of it because it caused me to develop severe depression. Thankfully the therapy helped me but people don't realise the damage OCD causes. I'm glad to hear that you have took the time to learn about OCD because very few do and they just think that OCD means "oh you like things clean".

How weird to see the actress from the video game "Her Story" turn up in the "this is my..." bit. I didn't recognise her from seeing the show when I played the game, but I suppose this was only a 5 min bit from 7 years earlier. Having spent hours watching her face in fake police interview tapes for any clues or lies has burned her into my memory I guess. I was certain she was the ex-girlfriend having forgotten all the answers.
