I feel like I've been in a lot of these situations when I was younger. Some even more awkward actually. When I was 18 I went home with a 36 year old woman with 5 kids, and the next day 3 of them asked me if I was going to be their new dad.

I think with a lot of British people, where a lot of the rest of the English speaking world would see PURE cringe and second hand embarrassment, a lot of brits find it absolutely hilarious. Also, if this is the episode I think it is, I personally believe its the weakest of season 1, and season 2 onwards (in my opinion) is PURE genius comedy π . Oh and the other episodes aren't really as 'explicit' as this one, to be fair

For me, this is the episode with the biggest gap between cringe and funny. Peep Show is generally great for cringey moments that are still hilarious or occasionally dramatic, but this episode I was never able to enjoy, so now youβre past it I think youβll enjoy the rest of the series better.

I've never actually found Peep Show uncomfortable or cringy π π dunno if it's a British thing that it doesn't really affect me maybe I just find it funny haha! This seemed like a rough one for you to watch though π
