Oh yeah of course, must be tricky. Had a look for Extras just a moment ago and could only see it available for free on BBC IPlayer which is a UK-only thing, so I see what you mean lol.

Heard you say you’re struggling to decide on something else to watch, and just remembered something else to suggest. Could maybe try ‘Extras’? It’s written by Ricky Gervais and Steve Merchant and stars both of them as well. It’s only 2 seasons of 6 episodes each (plus a Christmas special) and very funny!

Taskmaster NZ season 2 is shockingly good. They caught some real lightning in a bottle there. Season 1 is a bit rough though, especially if you're not acquainted with the Australian/New Zealand sense of humour :p

Also yes - i personally dont think theres a better taskmaster then taskmaster uk, but mainly because the chemistry between greg and alex is sooo good! Taskmaster nz does come pretty close tho

I did a bit off looking up for you. Series 3 is also 5 episodes. Series 4+5 go up to 8 episodes Champion of champion special is 2 episodes Every season after this is 10 episodes.

To answer why this season is so focused on potatoes - most seasons have a seasonal object! (except the first). Season 2's object was clearly a potato :)) Each season also has brand new house decorations surrounding one artist - u might notice the giant portrait of greg in the background of the livingroom (i think?) changes every season as well (based on the aformentioned artist!)
