Chinkie was always fine when referring to a Chinese takeaway when I was growing up, I still think it is to be honest. Paki shop not so much now, although that too was fine when I was growing up. With that said, the shop in question in the town I grew up in, actually was owned by people from Pakistan, whereas a lot of shops which get called that are run by Indians, and they tend to find that rather offensive. I think the difference between the two, for me at least, is I've never heard a Chinese Takeaway called a Chinkie in a derogatory manner. Whereas the other I have, a lot.

It's kind of like when you make friends in school then when you get older you realise you don't really have anything in common with them and drift apart. But they never drifted they instead got a flat together 😂 Mark and Jeremy are definitely friends, but they're very different people, but they're both outsiders in their own ways. I think despite their animosity towards each other they kind of need each other
