Shrooms were very popular in the 80's/90's, especially if you lived somewhere a little more rural like me, I was 18 in 1988 and first left home for art college, we'd go up in the hills to a little place called the worlds end above a small town called Llangollen and just sleep out under the stars and take a load of mushrooms which would be growing in abundance all around, I used to absolutely love them, doors of persecution and all that! This was a little after Acid House had kicked off and the Madchester scene was just becoming a thing, rave culture was just around the corner, it was a pretty fun time to be a teen or young adult in the UK.

RE your comments about the kitchen looking different, they filmed the first 2 series in a real flat in London but from series 3 onwards they filmed in a recreated flat in a warehouse. Apparently the owners of the original flat didn’t want them to film there anymore after the 2nd series!

One of my favourite episodes of Peep Show! I've had a few friends like Super Hans in my life haha. Also I don't know if anyone mentioned this but a little interesting fact I only recently found out is that the actress who plays Big suze is the half sister of Claudia Winkleman who was on the big fat quiz you watched.
