I think it's more common in British shows for there to be off-camera passage of time between seasons. British shows usually have short seasons with a lengthy gap between, and each new season often has new circumstances for the characters which you just have to get up to speed with. You haven't missed anything. Also, on the matter of mugging, in my experience it is rare in the UK. I'm 43 and can honestly say I don't know anyone who has ever been mugged. I can't even remember there being a mugging in my town. It would be the talk of the town if there was.

I live in Peckham and my son lives in Sutton, my mother lives in Bromley so I was travelling from my mother's and got the Tram from Beckenham Junction to Mitcham Junction which goes through Wellesley Rd, then got the Thames link to Sutton. Me and Partner took my boy to see Shazham 2 at the Empire in Sutton.

She has been on WILTY, she had a big fringe (or bangs as an American might say).

I went passed Apollo House where Mark lives in those flats earlier, on Wellesley Road, Croydon. It's Funny when people think of London, they only really see what they want you to see on the TV like Big Ben, Tower Bridge etc, all the glamorous side of London. They never show you the dark side like Croydon in South London lol. It is a fucking shit hole loooooooooool. It's Londons Version of New York's Bronx etc. Anyway, If anyone tells you there ain't much cringe in the latter seasons, they are lying looool it gets worse. Just have to take the rough with the smooth, however it certainly does get even funnier. You may have to close your eyes a few times but it's worth it.

So Michelle was supposed to be Toni but the actress who played Toni was unavailable to come back so they just made a new character. Big Suz has been mentioned a few times over the first couple series as Jez's true love. Led to a bit of a disjointed start but they ran out of time.
