I doubt Alex Horne had control of the 18 second time limit. It's just how long it takes for the lift (or elevator as an American would say) to get to the ground floor (or first floor as an American would say).

Another great episode. I think you probably figured it out but to 'don' something means to wear it or put it on. I liked the tasks in this one. Figuring out the switch, the scales etc. But yeah 18s in the lift wasn't a lot of time. And why 18. Good stuff. Made the evening more enjoyable, so thank you!

Around 19:30 Rhod says "I wish that prick was electrocuted in the studio (when I flick the switch) like that. There seemed to be much less lost in translation in this episode for some reason so I didn't see anything else I could help with ^^ You're right about the chemistry in this season, I feel the tasks have also stepped up a notch. I appreciate it when they do simple tasks that can be copied at home for like a game night, but they can't go so basic that it boring, tricky balancing act.
