A few times David Brent will say "ooo as an actress/actor said to a bishop". I never understood it as he says it fast. But it's the old British equivalent of "that's what she said", turning whatever was said before into innuendo. (*'Actor' is used to denote a homosexual innuendo.) Whinging is the same as moaning, complaining etc In Lord of the Rings, Melkor (Sauron's boss) wanted his own race of people but couldn't create life himself, so he captured elves, corrupted and twisted them over time, creating Orcs. Goblins are a subset of orcs, much smaller and weaker. When you listen to XFM you'll find Ricky and Steve have a lot of contempt for LOTR and people who are fans of it or Harry Potter etc. Steve repeatedly stating it's interminable and hated being dragged to the cinema with his family each year to watch the latest 3 hour movie. Which is odd considering he'd make a passable Ent.

I remember visiting my bro at uni and mp3 downloads were all the rage, so we opened this mis-labelled file, only to see cctv footage of some horrible accident. Disbelief was our first reaction, what was that? Was that real? Wait, nooo… did we actually just watch … urghhhhhhh “that’s enough internet for today” is such an appropriate saying in these situations! I digress, but this reminds me, pranking was so much easier on computers back then. I remember back in my school days, before Windows 3.1, in the time of MS DOS 3.3/5.0 etc, our school had a computer lab with IBM PCs, people used to be greeted by the C:\> prompt, and type DIR etc to look for files. Well I wrote a program which I named SAMFOX.EXE, and copied it on all the computers, clearly visible for anyone looking, (remember the 8 character filename limit, anyone?) Well Samantha Fox was a well known UK pinup model, I’ve no idea what people expected would happen, but when you ran the program, It faked the FORMAT C: command, which everyone knows deletes everything on the hard drive. The fake “are you sure Y/N?” prompt ignored your answer, instead displaying a Y as your response, and it “appeared” to proceed to format the hard drive 🤣 I made the disk drive light flash on and off, for added authenticity. It ends with the C:\> prompt again, but the program was still running, so when they type DIR afterwards to see what they’d done, it returned the dreaded “file not found” message. I scared a few people to death with that joke, the teachers thought it was amusing but asked me to remove it from all the computers 🙁 🤭 One friend liked to describe in detail, heart sinking, how f4cked he thought he was, having ran the program, and the huge relief afterwards when he found out. A crotch goblin is just a thing to call children. Goblins that spawned from the crotch. As for the blood pressure and the job. In an office environment I doubt high blood pressure would be enough to not get you a promotion, and could actually be seen as descriminatory. Also from the perspective of closing one of the branches down, promoting one of the office managers should not make a difference. They could have still kept the Slough branch and got rid or Swindon if they wanted to or vice versa. Its all just plot points though to further the story. You cant read too much into it.

The look from Dawn that you were wondering about is sadness because Tim stopped himself from going after his dreams and instead settled for a boring and meaningless job. She was admiring Tim's drive to go towards his dreams and sees a lot of similarities in that pursuit for her own life. She has dreams that she hasn't had the courage to chase and Tim would have been an inspiration for her. Tim settling inadvertently means Dawn loses her drive to go after her dreams, causing her to be sad for Tim and herself.
